Eligibility

There are three ways to enter the field – a Diploma (DPT), a Degree (B.Sc) or a professional course (BPT- Bachelors in Physiotherapy). The minimum eligibility for B.Sc or BPT course is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. One can even take up a post graduate degree (Master in Physiotherapy) in the field to further once career.

Although the work of a Physiotherapist may tend to be physically strenuous as it involved physically lifting and supporting patients, their profession brings with it much satisfaction, since it involved relieving patients of pain and helping then recover from specific physical ailments.
