LAW SCHOOL ADMISSION TEST-LSAT INDIA
LSAT-India is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by the USA-based Law School Admission Council (LSAC). The law admission test is conducted in paper-pen mode for UG and PG Law programmes which are on offer in more than 50 law colleges across the nation.
ELIGIBILITY
The common desired eligibility criteria of LSAT India are that the candidates need to be appearing or have appeared in 10+2 examination or equivalent. Candidates, however may check the eligibility criteria of participating Law colleges.
EXAM PATTERN
The LSAT-India assesses the candidate’s critical thinking skills. LSAT India does not assess the candidates on their prior legal knowledge, mathematical skills, current affairs or grammar. The LSAT-India breaks critical thinking skills down to three main types- logical reasoning, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
There is no negative marking or penalty for guessing. Only correct answers contribute to a candidate’s score. Therefore, candidates need not leave any question unanswered and are advised to attempt all questions.
TEST FORMATE
Law School Admission Test for India is a standardized test for 2 hours and 20 minutes of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by USA- based Law School Admission Council (LSAC). The total number of questions in offline paper is not definitive; however, it may be between 92 and 100 questions. There is no negative marking for any wrong attempt.
