Eligibility

After 10+2 one can pursue a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree program in Hotel Management. Most Hotel Management institutes test students through a written examination followed by a group discussion and interview. The final year of the course sees students specializing in their area of interest and aptitude whether it is front office, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping or Food production, all of which are important departments of a hotel. Operations, Engineering, Security Marketing, Public Relations, finance and IT are other departments of a hotel that offer openings to specialists. Each department has its own precise tasks and provides necessary training in the initial years to equip freshers.
