Foreign Language as a Career Booster

Companies today have an ever- expanding reach around the globe, and many have international offices or business partners. Not only do they need to find ways to appeal to foreign clients and customers, but they find ways to engage an increasingly multicultural population in their home countries. With the recent surge in remote work,the chances of working with overseas colleagues grow every day. This trend gives candidates who know foreign language a distinct advantage in the Job market.

Which language we should study?
Usually in India, almost all schools have foreign language. Out of that majority of the school have European language.(eg, German, French, Spanish etc). There is also a high demand for Chinese and Japanese.
Levels of Foreign language:
There are various levels of foreign language:
A1–Certificate level
A2- Elementary level
B1- Elementary level
B2- Intermediate level (Eligible for MNC)
C1- Upper Intermediate level (Interpreter)
C2- Advanced level (Eligible for advanced Interpreter)
Institute to learn foreign language in India
1. JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru university)( Both UGand PG)
2. BHU( UG in Chinese and Japanese)
3. Jamia Milia University( Certificate diploma,)
4. University of Mumbai
5. Delhi University
6. EFLU Hyderabad
7. Goethe University
You can also learn through Embassy, but it is costlier.
Undergraduate Course:
One is considered eligible for undergraduate course after passing XII from a recognized institute. Cut off marks of 12th may be applicable to get the admission.
Admission will be based on entrance test.
Post graduate Course :
Candidate has to hold a bachelor degree in the related field. Non degree holder in that particular subject can also apply , but in that case candidate might have to be fulfilled some other criteria based on requirement.
